Work
My 8-year career path.
2024 to now
Qneiform
B2B SaaS platform. Founding frontend engineer.
- I joined as the first frontend engineer. The company had just finished its MVP inside a venture fund and spun out on its own, and my job was to grow that MVP into a full platform.
- I began with an audit of the code. The first thing I changed was the state: many small Zustand stores became one single store. There was less code to read, debugging got much easier, and fewer bugs reached us at all.
- The filtering system is one of the core features of the product, and I rebuilt it from the ground up. The product now holds more than five times as many filters, and adding a new one takes half an hour instead of a full day.
- While I have been here the team has grown from 4 to 17 engineers. Every frontend pull request comes to me, three or four a day, and nothing goes to production without my approval. A good part of the job is also helping new engineers find their way around the code.
- Through all of it I work closely with the product manager and the designer, from the first grooming session to the release.

What my colleagues say about me.
Steven Bosch
CTO, Qneiform
“Managing Artem has been a genuine pleasure. Coming in as the first frontend engineer on the team, he made an impact from the start. He showed a real ability to adapt, autonomously picking up entirely new frameworks to become effective from early on. Beyond his technical depth, he has shown a strong interest in the business context behind his work, keeping the bigger picture in mind even when heads-down on delivery. What has made Artem particularly valuable is how dependable he is. There is never any ambiguity about what you can expect from him. He delivers, he owns his work, and he holds himself to a high bar without needing to be asked. That kind of reliability is rare, and it has had a real impact on the team around him. Any engineering team would be fortunate to have him. I highly recommend Artem.”
Xavier Cameron-Higgs
Head of Product, Qneiform
“Artem worked with us as we scaled from an initial team through a fundraising round to a much larger operation. He contributed in an extremely siginficant way to our development and improving the product for users. The thoroughness and care taken on the FE was very impressive. He was a pleasure to work with and communication was prompt and exceptional, I would recommend him for any company”
Kateryna Herasymenko
Delivery Manager
“Artem is a dedicated team player who consistently demonstrates a commitment to accurately carrying out assigned tasks. He actively engages in team discussions and is proactive in making proposals for implementation, which greatly contributes to our project's success. From the perspective of a Scrum Master, Artem's participation in meetings and Scrum events is commendable. He actively contributes to discussions and collaborates with team members.”
Yuriy Yurch
Team Lead, Kwebbl
“I have worked in the team with Artem for several years. Artem is a committed, goal oriented professional with a positive attitude and a willingness to explore and improve products and tasks he was working on. Artem collaborates effectively within a team, actively participating and respecting the ideas of others. He is a friendly and approachable colleague, maintaining a positive and effective communication within the team.”
Jeroen Schuring

“Artem was a Front-end developer in the scrum/agile team at Vidaxl. I really liked working together with Artem. He works hard and is always willing to help out or give some extra detailed back-ground information. Also in discussions Artem has always valuable additions that are highly appreciated. I my opinion Artem is a great addition to any team.”

About
I have been building React applications for 8 years. For the last two-plus years, I worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer at Qneiform in Groningen, where the engineering team grew from 4 to 17 people. Before that, I worked at Grid Dynamics, an outstaffing company in Kyiv, as well as companies like Adraba, and did an internship at Scrumi. My first degree was in Accounting and Auditing, which is where my habit of double-checking every number comes from. In 2025, I earned a Master’s degree (MSc) in Software Engineering from Woolf University while working full-time.
